Cherry Cupcakes with Chocolate Cream

Who isn’t in love with cupcakes? From the first moment I saw them I knew we were going to have a great relationship together. With every bite I feel that cupcakes can bring happiness into my life. For sure! This is why I created a personalized recipe that I would like to share with you.

Being the lazy ass that I am, you can imagine that the recipe is short and can be prepared even by the most inexperienced person. Believe me! I always prepare it for my family and they love it. I’m not saying that I’m that good, but they eat two trays of cupcakes in two hours. Just sayin’!

Delicious Cherry Cupcakes with Chocolate Cream

Ingredients for 20 medium cupcakes

  • 300 g flour;
  • 300 g sugar;
  • 300 ml sour cream;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder;
  • salt

How to prepare it?

As I mentioned, preparing these cupcakes is a piece of cake (haha). Just mix the eggs with the sugar, sour cream, baking powder, salt and flour. Whisk everything together and put it in cupcake forms.

Don’t forget to heat the oven and before inserting the tray into the oven, add a cherry without the kernel into each cupcake.

Let them bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes and then let them cool on a rack. Decorate with chocolate cream (I used some sort of cream from the supermarket but you can also try this delicious chocolate cream recipe).

In the second picture the cream is made out of white chocolate and whipped cream.
