How to prepare it?

1.Start by wrapping the spices and citrus zest into a piece of cloth and seal it with a knot. Place this sack in a pot and pour the wine there, adding the brandy. Let everything simmer over low heat and stir from time to time. Add the sugar when the mixture is still warm.

2. Make sure you don’t let the mulled sangria boil because the flavors will vanish. But leave the pot over low heat for approximately 30 minutes. You know the liquid is ready to be served when it is steaming lightly.

3. Decorate with lemon wedges and serve with extra sugar just in case your guests have a sweet tooth!
