Who doesn’t love pancakes? Whether they are eaten at breakfast or as a dessert, pancakes make the world better. Just a taste of a brown pancake squirted with butter and some blueberry syrup can represent the set for the perfect day. My whole mouth just filled with saliva.

When did pancakes first appeared?

The first mentioning of pancakes appears as early as the ancient times. And the word pancakes can be seen in print as early as 1430. The pancakes that are made with wheat flour are called crȇpes (Latin crispus), while the ones made with buckwheat flour are called galettes (this means pebble and it refers to the original cooking method that involved pouring batter over a heated stone).

How to prepare it?

  1. Get a large bowl and mix the flour, hemp powder and baking powder.

  2. Add the egg and whisk together with the flour until you get a smooth batter. Then stir 75 g of blueberries and the acai powder.

  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan and add some batter, letting it fry until little bubbles appear. Sprinkle with the rest of the blueberries and some acai syrup.
