Givaudan Showcases Industry Leading Innovations at Gulfood Manufacturing

Givaudan, a global leader in taste and wellbeing, showcased its industry-leading innovations at Gulfood Manufacturing 2021 when the global food and beverage (F&B) event returned to the Dubai World Trade Center for the first time since 2019. Building on its 250-year history and global leadership position, the company recently realigned its portfolio to better reflect how its expanded product offerings and capabilities help customers deliver future-oriented food experiences that consumers value. The company has identified three experience spaces that will help deliver on its promise to its customers and their consumers.

The Feel Good Food Experience area encompasses the company’s taste, flavor, color, preservation and texture capabilities. With sensory experiences that feel good, surprise and delight, trade show visitors can sample street food flavors with a food truck experience that features Middle East, Africa and South Asia-inspired flavors that appeal to customers and their consumers across the region.

The Food Experience area “Does Good” will also be presented at Gulfood Manufacturing, which covers a nutritional and health-related portfolio of plant substances, bioactive substances and technologies for reducing sugar, fat and sodium. At the stand, the company will present new products, flavors and ingredients that do good and respond to the growing interest in health-promoting foods, supported by regional consumer insights.

The third zone is the “Imagine” food experience, which includes tools and programs that enable discovery, innovation, creation and collaboration with customers and partners. At Gulfood Manufacturing, this is brought to life by the company’s state-of-the-art artificial intelligence algorithm ATOM (Advanced Tools for Modeling) and the company’s proprietary VR (Virtual Reality) technology. Visitors can try a tropical fruit drink developed using AI. The ‘Imagine’ zone also features a virtual reality experience showing the company’s work in the plant-based protein space with exciting innovations in this high-growth area.
