Krispy Kreme made an Xbox donut. The Fluffy Donut is a marketing collaboration with Microsoft to celebrate Xbox’s 20th anniversary and will be on sale in Krispy Kreme stores, display cases and online in the UK and Ireland between August 2nd and 22nd.
The donuts won’t come with CPUs, GPUs, or SSDs, but you can potentially win that kind of hardware in the form of an Xbox Series S. As part of this marketing campaign, Krispy Kreme is also giving away the latest version of Microsoft’s mini-Xbox. You need to purchase a dozen of the new Xbox donuts to win a console, and Krispy Kreme will include a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with every dozen donuts purchased.
The donut itself is referred to as the nexus level, and is dipped in frosting and decorated with an Xbox Nexus theme. A single donut will cost £ 2.10 (almost $ 3), or a dozen will be available for £ 14.45 (about $ 20).
Krispy Kreme even created a playful marketing video with a creative director named „Kristina Kareem” and a quality assurance guru named „Xavier Boxell”. I do not believe it.
